Present a dinner evening on April 10, 2010 with motor racing driver and HDT/HSV Corporate Manager John Harvey and Chris Sewell, who held various roles with HDT from 1983 through to 1993, and authored the Brock Bibles. The evening, to be held in the function room at Lakeside Raceway, includes a 3 course dinner and lucky door prizes. Drinks can be purchased from the bar. If you wish to participate in a convoy to the venue we intend to leave at 4.00pm from the Shell Nudgee Beach Service Centre (North Bound exit 112 on the M1). After arriving at Lakeside Raceway around 4.30pm, you can talk to new and old friends about all things HDT & HSV until 6.00pm. At this time we will begin seating for dinner which commences at 6.30pm. If you are unable to make the convoy please arrive at Lakeside no later than 6.00pm so we can all be seated for 6.30pm. The evening will conclude at 10.30pm. Tickets are $75.00 each to be paid by cash at the door. Please advise Peter Woods via e-mail (pwoods@vtown.com.au) of your attendance. Please give your name and the number of attendees. All numbers must be finalised by 03/04/10 as the maximum seats available is 130 and they will be allocated on a first in first served basis.

To make this a really special weekend and thanks to a kind offer from John Harvey towards HDT VC Owners, on Sunday 11/04/2010 we invite HSV Owners Club and Bertie Street members to join us for lunch at Settlement Cove Redcliffe from 10.30am to 2.00pm. It is on the corner of Anzac Avenue and Redcliffe Parade Redcliffe. A BBQ lunch will be provided but please bring your own chairs and drinks. Settlement cove is a family friendly venue. John Harvey and Chris Sewell will be present at the BBQ and John is prepared to drive as many original VC HDT’s as possible and sign the original test drive report again with a 2010 date. This is a special treat for HDT VC owners with original paperwork but all are encouraged to attend the BBQ lunch. Again for catering purposes could you please advise Peter Woods via email pwoods@vtown.com.au of your attendance and the number of attendees.
