The club was formed in 1982 and has an average membership of over 150 members. To be a member, you must qualify by owning a HDT improved vehicle of G.M. origin which are I.D. plated or eligible for same, or a HSV improved Commodore or Statesman which are I.D. plated (subject to club bylaws)

The object of the club is to promote friendship and goodwill among people who have a common interest in HDT & HSV special cars. The club has Bi-monthly meetings on the last Friday of the month and these are usually held at a HSV Dealer. Our Club has an event on each month, and you will always be able to bring your family and friends. Some examples of Club events might be a navigation/observation run, Dinner night out, Sausage sizzle, go-kart racing, motorsport days as spectators or participants, weekends away, car shows, Convoy drives in the country and a Christmas party for adults and children. Plenty of variety for members to choose from.

Upon joining, you will also receive a monthly newsletter, which will give you news and information about club events, new models of HSV cars and equipment, technical advice, and information on motorsport in general.
